Thanks for the explanation, Skinner. So using the edited link, we send the message that the contrib originated from DU and adding the $.06 we send the message of why the contribution is coming now. Cool.

(In general, I hate that expression "to send a message." Too many associations with George Wallace, drug war propaganda, and RW "messages". Too many experiences of confusing evil action and phony message.)

Federal law requires the DNC to keep track of the employer and occupation of all their donors. If you don't give them that information, you are creating more work for them.
