Americans are a hard-headed people...
They believe what they want to believe and disregard the rest. They (in a generic sense) tend to simplify matters to an emotional level. They can watch the nation go over the cliff and still believe the parachute will open before we hit the bottom. But they don't want to hear any directions from anyone else and they don't need to look at no friggin' roadmap. So sit down and shut up.

We are going over the cliff, whether you like it or not. The inmates are in charge of the asylum and they believe God is watching over them. There is no limit to how much we can spend or how many wars we can fight. We are invincible. We are America.

1. I think they are also competitive. They don't want to lose, no matter
what the consequences.

5. I think this view is flawed.
You underestimate the power of a hijacked media and some truly scary government officials and objectives.

Clinton said that given all the facts, the American people will make the correct choice in a given situation.

I believe he was right. I don't think it's fair to blame the American people when they haven't had time to adequately adjust to the alternative news available on the Internet, or to the way their televisions have turned into a propaganda tool to keep them from critical reasoning.

We need to keep feeding people the red pill, so to speak. Continue asking questions, countering rhetoric, and mocking the conventional wisdom.

People only believe questionable reporting on the television and in the newspaper when it isn't challenged.

6. We'll put it on CBS and in the NYTimes...
and they will be told not to watch or read those liberal entities and they will do as they are told. They don't need to hear any of that crap.

7. Do you think that's maybe extremely cynical?
I know it's easy to get cynical in our position, but optimism is our strongest weapon.

So long as we believe they have us beat, they will.

10. Oh, we will do something....
After the fact, like we have done throughout our history. Another depression perhaps? A stock market crash? A monetary collapse of the dollar? Only then will we do something. When it is necessary to survive.

11. "If I listened long enough to you"
I'd find a way to believe that it's all true
Knowing that you lied straight-faced while I cried
Still I look to find a reason to believe
