Wow, this article lays it on the line re: Bush's second term
I love the way he takes a neocon's comparison of Bush to Woodrow Wilson, and points out that ain't a good thing. Indeed the two had much in common.

http://www.vdare.com/francis/050120_expect.htm

"Expect President Bush to sound like Woodrow Wilson," advised neoconservative political analyst Michael Barone in the Wall Street Journal this week.

Mr. Barone's advice was no criticism, since he fairly gushed with toasty sounds about the similarities between Wilson's beliefs and Mr. Bush's "vision of an America spreading freedom and democracy to new corners of the world."

And in fact Mr. Barone was correct. Wilson is exactly who Mr. Bush sounded like in his speech yesterday.

Woodrow Wilson of course was the president who not only launched America into World War I to "make the world safe for democracy" but also helped forge the disastrous Treaty of Versailles, which helped spawn the chaos that led to Nazism in Germany and World War II. "

1. The author is a CREEP
Talking about homosexual "marriage" and relating it to cats and dogs. Ugh.

2. Dang, knew there had to be a catch somewhere
Dude looked sane for a second there. You know, kind of like Pat Buchannan did for a few seconds over the summer as he railed against the war... before he voted for Bush, that is.

Oops. My bad. Sorry.

3. No, thank you.
The article still has valid points and you obviously were not endorsing his views about marriage equality. The author just ticked me off, so I thought I'd call him out on it. :)

Sometimes you have to find out what the enemy is up to - so you don't end up fighting a war based on bad information that will lead to nothing!!!

Here is another informative one written by the enemy. This made me realize that:

1) Neocons are not an intellectual movement because they invented nothing
2) now I know why the freepers all go crazy when I remind them that Hitler was a nationalist (they try so hard to make him a shame driven leftists).

I highly reccomend reading this on Where Conservative Came from & Disraeli. That is if you do not puke first!!
