Check in if you're going!

And stop complaining about the Democratic Party if you're not!

1. So, let me get this straight...
I go to the *actual* Democratic Party meetings. You know, the ones where the *actual* business of the Democratic Party gets done. I also go to meetings of my local Democracy for America chapter.

But...I'm supposed to go to an unaffiliated MeetUp that has had two people RSVPing yes, and is, according to the MeetUp site, occurring at a place which is out of business, or else I lose might right to complain.

How's that work?

2. Heh. I was thinking along these same lines. I go to our actual local
meetings and DFA meetups as well, and that's not good enough? ;)

4. You can complain...
...and have little to no credibility without getting involved, I guess.

I just think it's pathetic, the amount of whining people do to get other people to get things done for them. DU is a big emotional tampon for a lot of people, not a resource for activism.
