My 2 Senators were absent for AG vote today
Edited on Fri Feb-04-05 01:14 AM by AVID
Burns-R and Baucus-D

http://www.bushwatch.com/

<snip>

The Democratic turncoats who supported Gonzales were Joseph I. Lieberman of Connecticut, Ken Salazar and Ben Nelson, both of Colorado, Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, Bill Nelson of Florida and Mark Pryor of Arkansas.

According to the WP, "all 55 Republican senators voted for Gonzales except Conrad Burns (Mont.), who was absent. Three Democrats -- Max Baucus (Mont.), Kent Conrad (N.D.) and Daniel Inouye (Hawaii) -- did not vote."

<snip>

Curious about how MAX would have voted.

2. Ben Nelson is of Nebraska, not Colorado
not to be nitpicky

I wish more had voted against him, regardless of party. Gonzales is an asshole.

3. Baucus and Conrad are fighting Bush's SS scam
on the front lines yesterday and today, flakking against W's bamboozlepalooza tour.

5. Better than voting yes.
I breathed a sigh of relief when both my senators voted no.
