SOTU!-not LIHOP but Cheney squirmed like a fish when 9/11 was mentioned
He looked like the kid reminded of the time he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar (this is the clean version) by his uncle...who continually reminds him of it and uses it for favors.

He also flared his nostrils when W mentioned "fascism"

I'm just saying.

Dick looked like a kid at his grandmother's in an ill fitting suit the one time W mentioned 9/11.

Also--

Doesn't this sound like a great place to live?

"..a country that is Democratic-representative of all its people-at peace with its neighbors-and able to defend itself"

W was speaking of Iraq but he hasn't even tried to reach any of those basic goals here.

I'm just saying.

1. Hastert and Cheney
sitting behind Bush like the fatcats they are is a picture that speaks a thousand words.

It's just remarkable that folks don't see them the way they actually look. Fattened calfs, one can only hope.

2. Yes it was-Hastert looked like he was comatose
of course he doesn't really do anything-the pasty doll Delay runs the show on the hill.

Cheney looked like he was bothered to be there. I have read that he thinks CONGRESS are gnats.

3. Bush actually used the term "fascism"?

Guess condemning only "Hitlerism" was a little too transparent the last time.

6. W mentioned fascism?
I couldn't bear to watch, and cannot imagine the context he would have said this in. WTF????

8. I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't watch it.
Let the DU be my witness: I cannot watch the little weasel on TV. I can't listen to his whiny, immature voice on the radio. I can just barely get through jumping onto the DU when his photo is in the Lobby.

My TV is gone for good, because of him. I'm not making this up.

I know I'm not alone.

9. Bush's comment on Fascism...
Bush said ridding the world of communism used to be "just a dream", and stopping fascism in Europe "just a dream"...until the goal was realized.

Bush intimated that major challenges (as in, his big ideas of freedom in the Middle East) are bold, but attainable--like defeating fascism in Europe and communism in parts of the world.

The comment about fascism struck me, as well. In my opinion it's manipulation and mind games. It's Bush staking out a claim on the term "fascism" and positioning himself as far removed from it.

They pulled the same mind games/manipulation with the election-fraud issue when they became so involved and outspoken on the election-fraud in the Ukraine.

Bush knows the tenants of fascism. He also knows his administration meets all of those points. He undoubtedly understands that people are noticing. The mention of "fascism" was to get above the argument by defining himself as being against it.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

13. That's what I imagined.
It would be his only reason for bringing it up--to phrase its definition in the debate, because he knows it's floating around out among us peoples.

10. I thought Cheney looked sick...
...seriously, the man does not look well.

Pasty white and sweating--not a healthy combination.
