Who will be the bigger DINO, Obama or Salazar?
I'm thinking Salazar. God forbid if they both turn out to be DINOS of the first caliber.

8. WRONG - Senator Obama Intends to Vote No on Gonzales

Don't let the fact that the vote hasn't even happened yet get in the way of a good spleen venting either.

17. Actually, yes I do still doubt
Since he came down on the wrong side in three out of three votes so far, I'll believe it after I've seen it. He'll get a reprieve from me should he act on his words.

He's proven himself to be a typical politician to me and as such, I don't trust a thing he says any more.

24. You're not actually serious are you?
Oh my god he had 3 votes I didn't like!!!!! That must mean I'm going to hate every one of his votes for the next 6 years!!!

Walt Starr, take a freaking chill pill. Who died and made you king of deciding whether Democrats are "good" or not? It's pretty much customary at this point that you're going to bitch and moan about any little thing you don't like.

Obama's vote on Rice was terrible though, if he had voted no she wouldn't have been nominated.

sarcasm/ off

3. I don't think either one will be a DINO.
And as far as I'm concerned, nobody outside Colorado has a right to bash Salazar.

4. That's absurd
Give me a F'in break, I don't have to be in the state to criticise a Senator from there.

11. The alternative was a Wayne Allard clone.
Unless you'd rather see one of those, Salazar was the best you could hope for. Coloradans are moderates, as I suppose many here would call me, and it was either a real moderate like Salazar, or a hard-core Republican masquerading as a moderate.

For some, one "wrong" vote is apparently enough to earn the label.

The joys of the circular firing squad.

14. I have high hopes for Obama
Do I expect to agree with his every move? No. Is he perfect? No. Will he have to play politics to some degree to stay in the game? Of course.

He has a lot of potential, give him a chance for fucks sake, he's been in the Senate for what, two WEEKS and you are going to write him off over a protest vote that would not have changed the outcome?

26. Who will be the worse President, Dubya, or Santorum?
I'm sorry but as long as the Republicans are in power, I will have much more important things to complain about than Salazar and Obama voting for Condi.

27. Would you rather have Pete Coors and Alan Keyes in there?
Both of whom will never ever agree with anything we want?

Or Obama and Salazar who will agree with at least 75% of what we want?
