exposed rice's LIES on national TV, allowed her the opportunity to admit to those lies (which she didn't) and they did so in a professional manner. For their efforts on behalf of our country they will be systematically and machinelike savaged and trashed by the right wing tag team hate machine. The same machine that just a few short years ago placed so much value on honesty from public servants. The same machine that looked down on a LIE. The machine that will, today, make a martyr out of a liar, BECAUSE SHE IS A REPUBLICAN. God Bless America!

2. Probably very little impact

Because truth is irrelevant to conservatives and republicans (those who gave bush a mandate). However, in years to come, when historians are documenting this administration, the committee's hearings should have an incredible impact on setting the record straight. I hope this two cents worth answered your question. I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer and weren't quite sure what your were asking.
