"We had an accountability moment, and that's called the 2004 elections," Bush said in an interview with The Washington Post for Sunday's editions. "The American people listened to different assessments made about what was taking place in Iraq, and they looked at the two candidates, and chose me."

3. If the little puke won at all -- a big If --
-- he didn't win by much, and his damned war is a complete disaster.

Let the historians have at him.

5. Hi, Zeke. You're right -- the media now are mostly pro-W.
But I mean the historians for the next generation. I do not believe they will look kindly on a U.S. president who launched an attack on a sovereign nation without evidence of the very weapons supposedly prompting the attack.

I think they are going to nail his sorry ass to a board and that he will be lumped in with the Pierce/Harding/Nixon group.

I'm speculating into the future, I realize. But that's my thought on ol' Dubya. I think he's toast in the long run.
