CNN Poll
Edited on Fri Jan-14-05 10:53 PM by Maccagirl
Do you think President Bush's comments have had unintended consequences?"

Yes 79%
No 21%

I voted "yes" of course, until I thought about the word "unintended". Are we so sure his screw-ups are unintentional?

1. Maybe that's what the 21% thought too.

3. I assume they're responding
to Bush's interview where he said that "bring it on" was not the best thing to say.

4. This is an unanswerable question...as intended, I presume.
I'm sure he meant to cause the backlash. I'm sure it caused consequences.

5. Seems like another fake "poll" by CNN...
So many polls they do have no REAL answer that matches their question. I have no examples, but you must know what I mean. Take for example a question that might ask: "Do you think torture is justified if it prevents terrorism?" This may draw lots of people into answering "yes" when the question itself is ridiculous. It's an example of how the media misleads and "manufactures consent".
