We need a smart, positive bumper sticker to counter
those awful black ones with "W The President" on them. I live in Alabama, and I am so sick of seeing these on so many cars! I totally agree with the sentiment of the FW stickers, but I would like to have one that is positive for the Blues and our values. Something small and similar to those black ones, but one that is a positive message for our side. Any ideas?

1. Simply remove the "P" from the current one, or make the p
lowercase and the "r" uppercase.

6. our positive messages
are sometimes hard to put in three words. negative ones are a lot easier.

How 'bout...:

Democrats Are AWESOME

There's More to Morals

there's no blue in greed

I don't know, I dont like to overuse this blue/red stuff actually, I hope it doesnt stick with us for the rest of my life. It seems polarizing.

10. LAMER EVERY DAY
The people who love president Dumbass should be reminded, at every turn, that his days are numbered. He can pull a lot of shit between now and 2008, but come Jan. 20, 2009 he's out of work. So let's keep that in our minds, and in theirs.

13. Birminghamian, here...
and I am sick of seeing those damn stickers everywhere as well. They always seem to be on the largest, most annoying SUVs, don't they?

I thought of making one that looked exactly like the W-The President sticker that says, W - The Idiot, or W - The Dangerous Fool

20. Guntersvillian here
I see those goddamn W stickers everywhere I look. There is even a real estate peddler in nearby Albertville that has a huge black billboard with a white 'M' on it with 'The Realtor' under it. I think his name is Martin or something.

I don't want a sticker that looks too much like the traditional 'W the president' or the oval 'W 04' because 99 out of 100 people who see it will think I am just another Bush supporter. They won't notice a subtle difference.

That's the same reason I decided not to get a yellow ribbon with a peace sign in the bend of the ribbon and the inscription 'Bring 'em home NOW!' I agree with the message, but too few people will even notice it because they are so used to seeing yellow ribbons that say 'support our troops'

I want something OBVIOUS... and obviously different

The ribbons that say, "Bring the troops home now" are blue, not to be confused with the yellow or red, white and blue "Suppport the troops" ribbons.

30. I certainly don't need to explain my transport choices,
however, I have 2 large dogs that travel with me. I live on a country road and live in the Northeast. I have a vacation home in the mountains that is at the end of a two mile dirt road. I need what I drive.

Funny, most of the folks I see with "W" stickers on their cars drive old shit-boxes that are rusty and falling apart. The folks who live near me that drive SUV's generally do not have stickers on their cars and the only ones with political stickers are Democrats.

My 170lb Rottie, who is sweet, sweet, sweet and his girlfriend Bella Bin Laden, she is the WMD * could not find, sweet but will chew off the arm on a chair to get attention would scarew the crap out of anyone who passed a smaller car with them in it. We had three until August when my sweet momma Brie was poisoned. By the way my vet loves these dogs, they are the most passive rotties she has ever treated. They are chicken, well Bella has a little stinker streak as you can tell by her nick name

So do I. Especially when hauling them (115 lbs and 90 lbs) back and forth. My babies are brother and sister (one litter apart) and they are so laid back.

That reads:

ANNOY A LIBERAL

I don't know if you guys have em' in your states.

I need a catchy counter.

As for the "W" sticker...go with what Kerry said:

"W is for WRONG"

How about "Deliver us from Dubya"?

I'm thinking about making a button that reads "Who would Jesus smear?"

What kills me is that there are so many passages in the Bible -- for example, in the Beatitudes in the fifth chapter of Matthew, and the admonitions in chapters 6 and 7 -- that directly warn against the philosophy and policies of the Bush administration (i.e., favor the rich, never admit you're wrong, hold grudges, use brute force to get what you want, lie, etc.). The second chapter of the book of James is also a doozy. Maybe you could print out something like that and nudge a few of those Alabama consciences. They no doubt read the Bible, but do they really hear what it says?

On edit: There's also "God bless the world -- no exceptions."

If you look at Northern Sun, you'll find some interesting options.
