4. Why would you say that?
It is obviously not a new site. Looks like it was up before the election. Why are you suspicious?

7. Couple of reasons....
Edited on Tue Jan-11-05 01:11 AM by quiet.american
And again, I'm not sure of anything, and only posted my doubt so that if anyone knows differently, they will hopefully validate --

1. When the link given is clicked, one is automatically re-directed to "pacforachange.com."

2. After Googling Sen. Boxer's name, I couldn't find any mention of her being associated with "Pac for a Change."

3. The Googled link that comes up for Sen. Boxer is http://boxer.senate.gov/. After a quick browsing of the site, I couldn't find any mention of her being associated with this PAC -- that could be due to legalities, or overlooked on my part.

Anyway, before I give any money, I need to verify this is associated with her.

Also, the group that owns the site doesn't list her as a client.

9. See my reply below. Barbara's staffer referred me to the site.
If you don't believe me, call her office!

8. It's real. Boxer's staff told me today when I brought flowers
to her San Diego office. She asked me to spread the word!

16. Just wanted to follow up --
I did confirm the site with Barbara Boxer's office.

(Liberty Belle, just want to be clear my concern was no reflection on you -- the re-direction of the URL just made me a bit leery -- and the fact DU seemed to be crawling with "unfriendlies" last night -- I just wanted to make sure someone hadn't "hijacked" barbaraboxer.com before I put my credit card info in.)

Thanks for posting the link!
