Political Muscle can BEAT Political Capital...
Let's destroy Diebold, first, just to see if we can and because they're the ones most implicated in the fraud in this election. They either committed the fraud or created the opportunity for it to happen.

If we really get a concerted effort going and destroy Diebold, the mere fact that it's possible would scare the beejesus out of the other companies and cause them to rethink their priorities a bit.

First step would be to cease to use their ATMs, own their stock. Anybody else think of how we do this?

The only thing I hate is the idea of the good Democrats who will inevitably suffer as a result of our boycotting their company, but they should have time to relocate before it goes too far.

2. Go negative
I propose direct action:

1. placing signs on ATMs which state they are "Out of Order"

2. Complain loudly when there is a line that you were shorted on your cash withdrawal. Always good to scare the sheep.

In addition to the ones you mentioned, I will be starting this covert action tomorrow during my travels.

Will let you know how it goes...

Diabolical?

Sure wouldn't want you as an enemy. Yeah, let us know how it does!

Just one thing, don't get caught! :toast:

4. Keep big picture in mind
The GOP was nakedly exposed as a fraud itself in that its vaunted GOTV was really a hodge podge of fixes. Now Rove says they fixed their GOTV too but that is just the old blanket with the same peekaboo holes. The Diebold machine is not the only offender and some key issues are greater than slapping a printer on the touchscreens. Furthermore, if you EVER let the GOP drive the issue(and they will with all their legislators) they will move the con game to the smoother, slicker, cheaper and even more comfortable ONLINE VOTING which went off the radar this year(because seeing the lack of Dem resistance) they didn't need it even as an experiment. The soldierts did NOT ewant to use it because they didn't trust it. Those 100,000 experimental ballots never happened as planned.

Push out the machines and the New Age marvel of Internet voting will start getting touted. There were already a bunch of innocents in Illinois(?) I believe who thought this was just the thing to improve the situation. Aieee. The illiterate dummies we have who should be using new technology to help the party but can't even protect themselves with common sense and research!

5. How about a sticker we can place at every Diebold machine...
location that says:

Don't use this ATM if you believe Diebold stole the election!

It does two things: Informs more people about the fraud and enlists a larger community to boycott Diebold. I'm not happing about the wording, so I'd appreciate some suggestions. Something strong and to the point.

7. print stickers at home, like I do for the LA Times paper box.......
which likes to take quarters and give back NO newspaper. I made some stickers on avery stock that say "this box steals your money and does not give you a newspaper!". I print a few full size sheets and some little ones too. Not a frequetn occurence but I know the guy who loads the paper boxes in the morning does not like them. and I only do it when the box actually does not give me a paper.

9. IMPORTANT!
If any of us actually try to do some of these ideas, don't forget that there are cameras at the ATM machines, so disguise yourself. I was thinking that a BU$H mask would be amusing.
