It's from my home town, in the FL panhandle.

Now, the letter's not really political, but from the intelligence level, I can at least see how many voters (here and elsewhere) could be duped into voting for Bush.

From what I can tell, he's saying the something big is underway over the next 4 months. The force he is speaking of is a northern one. Or Western European. It opposes Ivan (Russia?) This movement or action will restore a natural order to things, but if you start taking down "trees" or things that are just a nusiance (bystanders, innocent civilians, small ineffective armies?) or are in the way then the force will draw attention to itself and may expose itself to danger.

On the other hand, it's a pretty good poem too.
