Time to Stand Up to DNC/DCCC/DLC - Respect Voters - No Money!!!
Hi guys -

I don't mind the people in the party leadership being careful with voter fraud issues. But careful is not dismissive.

The folks on the right stand up for the idiot members of their party. The folks on the left constantly throw even reasonable members of the left to the wolves.

This has to stop. This election has proven that we on the left and the internet are a tremendous asset for fundraising, their bread and butter. Money is power. It's time to use that power judiciously.

The first way to do this is to take a comprehensive look at the issue of voter fraud and come up with our demands for the DNC and party leadership. The fact that they are dismissing this is ridiculous.

The people in this country think that the election was stolen or rigged in some way. So do folks around the world. This is not a good thing for democracy. If our democratic leadership continues to behave in such a stupid, head in the sand manner, then I'm going to start wearing some real tin-foil and wonder if they aren't all republican plants, sent to the Democratic Party to destroy us from the inside.

But here's what we do know. Money talks. And our money speaks loudly.

There has to be a uniform system put into place with an auditable trail. Every state should have a bipartisan group to oversee elections. Never should they be in the exclusive hands of one party over another.

We must start signing pledges and discuss witholding of funds until the leadership wakes up and realizes we're serious. Only then will they become serious as well.

Best,

Dems

1. I don't plan to give any money to the DNC.
I have decided that Democracy for America is going to get those dollars.

4. This strategy may also benefit...
the cause of shoring up the left side of the political spectrum -- which needs to be done rather desperately urgently, considering how far right this country has come, thanks to the Rethugs and their Democratic Pretenders...

So yes, if the Democrats in congress do not show up the Washington Rethugs for the plundering marauders that they are, I am also going to donate only to Democracy for America...

6. If I had dollars to give
DFA would get them. In the meantime, it looks like the DLC is following Chimpo's lead and lurching ever rightward, appointing that DINO Reid as Senate minority leader and probably rubberstamping Vilsack as party chair.

Those bastards have suckered me for the last time. Kerry was a great candidate, and Kerry/Edwards was a dream team. Their campaign was sabotaged by the conservative, old-maidish DLC, especially regarding a response to the Swill Boat liars.

The greatest candidate in the world doesn't stand a chance when he runs up against a cadre of DLC "handlers." Until the party dumps those conservative hacks, they've lost me.

2. damn right. They claim to be all about money, so let them starve.
starve the beast until they ask to have us back! (fat chance, they're so stupid)

Lean to the right some more, DNC DLC etc. You'll fall right over. Traitors.

5. I canceled my monthly CC contribution a week ago
I had been giving for the last 2+ years.

Hopefully they processed the transaction correctly. Incompetents.

7. It's not just the vote count.
It's much of their decisionmaking. I'm so sick of watching the common sense approach go by the wayside while some half assed attempt to look like they care is put forward. I'm tired of them throwing out the baby with the bathwater. I'm tired of them caving on every R scheme because the R utters "bipartisan". I'm tired of bipartisan. Cooperate when it makes sense, fight when it hurts the people. They need to represent the worker, the farmer, the disabled, women, children, the elderly.
