2. Willingly signing loyalty oaths, renaming French fries and smashing bottles of Heinz ketchup are acts of pure patriotism.

3. Demanding tax cuts for millionaires during war time is properly conservative, but mentioning the national debt is a liberal plot.

4. Lying about the reasons for war is acceptable but marching against the war is not.

5. Outsourcing jobs is a good thing because it forces people to retrain....even if they`re 61.

6. Researching alternative energy sources is unnecessary because buying (or laying claim to) foreign oil is easier.

7. Firing a CBS News producer for interrupting a CSI show with an announcement of Arafat`s death is proper. Showing photos of the war dead returning home is not.

8. Demanding that librarians hand over patron`s checkout lists is good. Demanding that the Justice Department stop yanking American citizens off the streets without charges is unpatriotic.

9. Executing death row inmates....even if they`re retarded....or even if their lawyer fell asleep during their trial.... is good. Killing Iraqi civilians and torture is acceptable. All abortions are bad.

In the news today it was reported that a retired four star general was being replaced by a younger woman. A woman sixteen years younger and much more of a hard-line hawk when compared to the moderate stance of the outgoing Secretary of State. The retired US Army 4-star General is regarded as moderate when compared with the incumbent ideology espoused by the main cadre of the Bush junta.

Think on a regime that is not only more hawkish than a 4-star General but one that has never known active duty in any military force.
