1. no good answer here
I don't know if he would have pulled in Florida or not. But I think he would have won. He didn't vote for the IWR and could have used the war against bush the way Kerry could not. Same thing with the patriot act and NCLB.

2. I still maintain that Junior could not have won the election legitimately.
...due to the simple mathematics of it. Having lost in 2000, and then losing votes from every sub-group of the Republican base, it would be virtually impossible for him to get as many votes as he did in 2000, let alone more than that.

Now after the fact, I refuse to believe that voter turnout favored the 'Pukes. It's not logical that people would stand in line for several hours if they are happy with the last 4 years.

Which leaves us with widespread fraud via Diebold machines in Ohio, optical scanners in Florida, and God only knows where else. Unfortunately with electro-fraud, it can neither be proven nor disproven conclusively. But it's enough for me to speculate that even Gore wouldn't have had a chance this year. Dare I say it, even with the 22nd Ammendment repealed, Bill Clinton himself might have been Diebolded :(

3. How about "yes, but the fix was also in"? Gore won, so did Kerry.

4. Which Al Gore?
The new and improved Gore might have had a shot, but the Washington Product Gore that ran in 2000 would have lost.

5. Kerry Did As Well As Any We Could Have Put Up There
If you look to the pitfalls Kerry DIDN'T fall into, that a lesser Democrat would have, he garnered about as much support as you are going to get.

6. I think he would have
he was a more animated Gore than four years ago and much more his own man. His position on Iraq was consistent. The fact is the election of 2004 could have been won.

8. EXACTLY
You just replace Holy Joe with Howard Dean, and you would have won by a greater margin

10. Gore WON in 2000, and Gore would have won this year, big time

Gore was great on the stump now that he was free from his handlers. Gore was right on the Iraq War!

11. Pointless. The GOP owns ALL the mainstream media. Jesus could
run and would get trounced if he didn't have any media coverage.
