Poll question: What candidate do you now favor from the Primaries besides Kerry?
Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 09:52 PM by zulchzulu
Now that Kerry conceded (which could change any day now due to BBV and other voting scandals), which candidate do you now think is really cool...

Perhaps this poll is more for Kerry fans who were for him the whole time vs. migrated Kerry fans.who were for others that did what they did on 11/03.

5. No room left in the Poll hood, bro
They both are cool. I love them both. Besides, they both (unfortunely) had about the same chance of getting the nomination.

2. Perhaps Sharpton and Braun should get their own and Nader and Cobb should
be grouped together..... This is democraticunderground not greenparty underground after all.

4. Howard Dean
Initially, I was a Gore or Daschle supporter, but I migrated to being a Deaniac when both said they wouldn't run, then and Edwards supporter after "I Have A Scream" which I realize was overplayed by the RW media to finally being a Kerryite. But the past is past, the future's now, I guess.

10. Howard Dean!!
Edited on Mon Nov-08-04 10:04 PM by Raiden
He might have lost in a crushing defeat to Bush, but principles are just as important as winning elections. At least Howard Dean stood up for the progressive principles that make up the backbone of our party. John Kerry cared more about looking polite and being a good loser than standing up for the truth. Howard Dean would've fought for every vote to be counted, I'm sure of that!

11. Howard Dean.
I was for him from the beginning. He didn't try to play "me too" with the republicans. He clearly stated that he wouldn't have voted for the war in Iraq. He would have campaigned more aggressively and he wouldn't have conceded while the votes were still being counted.

He might have come up short but he would have stood on principle.

17. Great stuff!
I hope Wesley Clark runs in 2008. I voted for Kerry in the primaries, but Clark would have been my VERY close second choice.

20. Clark, but give me Dean any day & twice on Sunday if it were anything but
a war-theme campaign. It's a shame, because I think Dean would've trounced the imbecile, if he ever made it through the primaries. Other than that, I think Clark would have the best chance, though, with the way things are.
