1. Don't want to defend the post but,
"The Dean Defectors help explain why a poll by the Des Moines Register released last night suggests Dean could finish behind Sen. Kerry (Mass.) and Sen. John Edwards (N.C.), who seem to be sharing the defectors. A rival strategist says the Dec. 13 capture of Saddam Hussein marked the turning point as much as Dean's own gaffes. Overnight, it got harder to rage against the war - and that made Democrats move beyond anger to issues like character and electability."

Fact: Dean's losing supporters to other candidates. It's OK to talk about the phenomenon. hearing what they say may even help people come up with strategies to stop it.

9. The only mispelling I see wouldn't have been caught by it

as it was a typo and the typo is a real word. But I appreciate your thoughtful comment. It was so worthy of being over 2% of your total contribution to this board. Sorry now I see the second typo. Guess that one would have been caught.

This may be wishful dreaming.....The Dean Camp in Iowa is over 3,500 strong. I shared this last night....think back, or use your search tools.

As an active participant at the Dean HQ:

There was no drop in activity or attendance other than an increase. They had new volunteers coming in every 20 minutes, as they must be processed and all eager to get to work...... We went into the next phase of canvasing today. Media tagged along with some to see how the system worked....They were in Awh!

So, you may go and visit the Kerry Camp....it's down the street from Deans 2 offices.......they appear to need some help.

10. Some may not like Dean.
Others may not care for badgering and junk mail from people that don't live in Iowa. I have never liked Moonies,JV's, Moromans and other unwanteds that call, write or ring the door.
I am sure you agree.

5. The Post
SUCKS! What a disgrace that Murdoch has made it into a whorish rag. It once was a famous institution in this country, founded by some of the most famous people in the United States. It used to be the voice of the liberal party in New York and a voice for the people.

Now it isn't even fit to wrap dead fish in.

The only New York paper I like, as a rule, is the Village Voice and even that is less and less relevent as time goes on.

Getting bashed by the POST is an honorable state of being.

Kudos to Dean.

6. Agree
I would love to raise Dorothy Schiff from the grave! Then it was a newspaper. Founded by Alexander Hamilton, too. It's a shame.

You Dean folk shouldn't take it seriously. It's not a real newspaper.
