25. The only person I could vote for Clark over is the squatter
and the only reason for that is that I am sworn to ABB. I do not understand why people consider being a general gives him special presidential qualities. We need a president not a military dictator.

Clark > Dean > Edwards > Gephardt > Kerry > Kucinich > Lieberman > Sharpton

This covers all the possibilities that I am aware of. What is really strange is that this is alphabetical order.

29. So hard!
If it boils down to a few of these match-ups on March 9, Primary Day in Texas, it's going to be tough, and I'll have to do some mental shifting. I figured out my number 1, but after that choosing between several other pairs is very difficult. I really like all of them, and it'll boil down to who can match up best to beat Bush*, probably, at that point. I could even change 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8 if I returned in 10 minutes. Good question, but really hard!

1. Clark

2. Kerry (Hard for me. I go back and forth every day. I think Kerry is closer to my positions. I really like Edwards, though, and I think his persona would be more appealing to the general electorate.)

3. Dean (I guess because of IWR)

4. Edwards

5. Clark

6. Clark

7. Dean

8. Dean (Because I think he'd be more successful facing Bush)

45. Choices
1. Clark v Dean

Clark. He brings more credibility on national security issues and will perform much better in the South. I also think Clark has more integrity and is less opportunistic. Third, as I've said time after time, his supporters on this board are fantastic. I don't really care how long he's been a Democrat, I'd choose Clark.

2. Edwards v Kerry

Edwards. Well, I'm from North Carolina, so I'm biased. Though Kerry's style and personality appeal to me, I don't think it will play well in the South. Though I think Kerry would make the better president, Edwards would do a fine job as well, and I just think he's more electable.

3. Kerry v Dean

Kerry. Up until this past week, it would have been Dean, by virtue of a strong campaign. But Kerry has caught fire and he, like Clark, brings lots of credibility on national security. And though I think neither has a demeanor that will play well in the South, I prefer Kerry's.

4. Edwards v Kucinich

Edwards. See #2 for his strengths. Plus, Kucinich is way too liberal for my tastes, whereas Edwards is more in line with my beliefs.

5. Clark v Kerry

Clark. I really like them both but Clark will do better in the South, I think. (Though Kerry, as I've said, would be the better President.)

6. Kucinich v Clark

Clark. See #4.

7. Dean v Edwards

Edwards. Edwards will do better in the South and I think he has more integrity.

8. Kucinich v Dean

Dean. Dean could actually win the general election, and would be a more effective president, I think.
