Rural voters: the new victimized group...

I'm tired of reading about how rural American despises East coast elitists because they are somehow imposing upon them. How? This is like Evangelicals acting like their some put upon minority. No one here cares about imposing on rural America. I haven't heard anyone suggest imposing on the practice of Christianity. We just don't want the government to impose on people's personal lives, even if they're gay, and we want people to be free to practice their faith, uncoerced.

I'm amazed at how Republicans can take people who hold all the power and still cry like babies about how they're oppressed by Massachusettes. What exactly do they think we're doing to them?

2. We are in the way of some of their more twisted,

terrifying, and even treasonous designs. We don't let them pass unconstitutional laws, and therefore we are opressing them?

I seem to recall reading somewhere about the necessity of protecting the minorities from the tyranny of the majority...
