1. I think it was the commercial that was running during the last two weeks

that really did it. It declared a vote for Brad Carson was a vote against President Bush. While I think no one was a big fan of Coburn they didn't want to vote against Bush. That would be like voting against Jesus or something.

2. Kentucky re-elected Bunning

says a lot also. bunning's campaign ran on calling his opponent gay. bunning himself didn't even know about the mutiny in iraq. he admitted to not reading news. cheated in debate. but his campaign said his opponent was gay. so bunning won.

3. Bunning is a senile old bastard

He will resign sometime soon and will let the repub gov pick his replacement. I was really hoping for a dem pickup in kentucky.
