17. Saw the same kind of thing yesterday on CSpan

A reporter wanted to interview him but her cameraman was nowhere around. So Edwards waited patiently, chatting with her and the supporters gathered around (is he the only politician left on earth who can say, "Hey, Darlin'" to a stranger and not sound offensive?) asking if his little boy had made it onto the bus, etc. The reporter kept apologizing for holding him up and he kept saying, "No problem, that's ok."

Not a big thing, but I thought it was very interesting seeing how polite and kind he was.

Other people were trying to ask questions, and she was in JE's face "JUST ONE MORE QUESTION, SENATOR!", and he was just unbelievably patient - and good-humored about it. I wanted to smack her myself.

So many callers today - now - are saying they plan to vote/caucus for Edwards. Is this thing real?

20. saw that yesterday

With a lady who wanted a picture of him but her camera didn't work, he waited around until she got it figured out.

the positive vibes coming from his campaign are amazing, let's hope it leads to a strong showing tomorrow.

I sure like him. If we didn't have so many problems around the world, I'd be having a heck of a time choosing between him and Kerry. He is really a great guy.

16. He's even better after the stump speech...

...in the crowd signing books and taking pictures. He even does great with people who ask questions he's not prepared for. He answered questions on AIDS, alternative fuels, special education...

and another fine speech for edwards. I felt bad that he had so little room to move around though. It was really full in there, and the chairs were pushed so up close to him that he had this little tiny circle to stand in when making his speech. It made for a great scene and he's a natural at working the room.
