for photo-ops and shitting in their pants rather than opposing him after 9/11. That's why no one in Congress could ever have a chance as a candidate for prez.

So why did we pick Kerry? Because the DLC front loaded the primary system so that wheat farmers and ice fisherman chose our nominee and those of us in the blue states like NJ, NY, Ill, Cal, upper midwest (and that's about it these days) didn't have diddly to say about it.

When we needed someone to take Bush on about the war (didn't hurt Obama or Feingold, did it?) we got "I voted for it before I voted against it" and "would have done the same thing" even knowing there was no WMD (I wanted to scream after that one).

Why? Because ice fisherman in NH, Iowa and some other wheat growing states got scared by the "scream" and the DLC sat by smiling while the mediawhores built it into mountain that we in the blues knew was just a molehill and would have been forgotten by the election.

Fuck the DLC! They have destroyed democracy within the Democratic Party.

Flame retardant suit in place.

1. I appreciate that Kerry finally came out swinging, but
I do wish there'd been more of that in 10/01.

*hugs*

5. You think all the kneepadding to * was good?
The cowardly bastards we call "Democrats" in Congress would have let Bush screw their wives for a photo with him in the Rose Garden after 9/11. They voted for the Patriot Act, for Iraq and all the other bullshit things Bush wanted without a peep of dissent and suddenly they are going to be credible in a presidential election by saying "Oh, yes sure I voted for that stuff, but I didn't really mean it."

Horseshit!

6. Don't look now, but you're "finger pointing" at the "finger pointers."
Try to have a little self-awareness! You're "finger-pointing" at "finger pointers" and saying it's all the fault of the "finger pointers!" LOL!!!! Can you get more catch-22 than that?

3. I cringed when Edwards came out totally pro-Israel in debates.
I think peace has to be achieved by a compromise between the sides, but Edwards positioned himself totally on Israel's side, discounting the Palestinian leadership. Why was such an extreme conservative position necessary?

7. If Kerry, given to us by the DLC was so respected by Dems then
how come Boxer won by 2 million in California and Kerry won by only 1 million? Bad candidate given to us by bad management!

10. Kerry
is not a DLC Democrat. He's been a liberal Democrat. We need to stop blaming each other. We need to build our party and hone our message.
