Throughtout the whole game, it looked like a blowout for the Packers. They led 17-0. Then suddenly fate started to turn. Next thing you know, Washington brought it up to a 6-point deficit... 20-14. The tide had turned. Things looked grim.
Then Washington scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
21-20.
The Packers were doomed.
But it was called back. An "illegal motion". And by the time it was all over, two more touchdowns and a two point conversion sealed the deal. 28-14. Packers won.
It had looked pretty hopeless for a minute. It appeared to be all over. It wasn't.
This isn't either.
- Provisional and absentee ballots haven't been counted in Ohio yet. There is cautious optimism there. Ohio could still swing.
- Same with Florida.
- Kerry has Wisconsin. Could get New Mexico, Nevada, and Iowa, creating a 269-269 tie if Shrub gets Ohio. There is an elector in West Virginia who might not vote for Shrub. Although he said he probably wouldn't vote for Kerry either, a tie like this might change his mind.
