Bush grants "time to reflect" out of "respect for Kerry's candidacy"
...but the Boy King wants to give his victory speech "by the end of the day today."

That's the kind of bullshit I woke up to today.

Get ready for Olympic-level smirking, the kind that will eclipse anything you've seen in the last 4 years. Say hello to the draft, war with Iran, a national sales tax, more tax cuts for the upper 1%, Wal-Marts on every corner, more outsourcing, and a raped and/or pillaged environment.

"Some people say I have a certain swagger. In Texas, we call that WALKING."

:grr:

2. John Kerry will not concede this. Too fucking bad, George.
This isn't over by a long shot.

9. Good morning PT...I got about three hours sleep myself
Whatever happens, we'll get through it. I think that out of respect for Kerry's efforts I'll consider it over when he makes the call. It really is a repeat of 2000, with the Bush campaign saying "LOOK...all we want to do is place him on the throne. Will you PLEASE step aside?"

:grr:

Setting aside my anger for a moment, a salute to my fellow DUers:

:toast:

5. Also get ready for the next round of terrorist attacks, seeing as how
bush isn't concerned with OBL and still hasn't bothered to fund our first responders or secure our ports, borders and flights.

Good luck, America.

God knows you will sorely need it.

8. A plan to wipe out
huge portions of blue states? If some of their own go down with it, so what, they know they have tons more in the solid red states. Feeling quite cynical this a.m.

Chop those trees, drill those holes, pollute those lakes & rivers, fill that blue sky with all the toxic crap that it will hold..

I hope all those "hunters, trackers, backpackers and fishermen" enjoy their brave new world ...they earned it

12. This is what makes my blood boil. No one apparently cares...
about the environment. Except us, John Kerry (who has a magnificent record on the environment) and environmental activists who have been sounding the alarm on this Adminstration for the past 4 years.
