Turnout as well (none / 0)

After hearing about record turn-out all day, it looks like fewer votes were cast this year than in 2000. Not just less percentage, less actual votes. What happened?

2. You know the media is in on it, because they ignore it completely
not to mention of the harrassment of voters they've ignored

3. what are you talking about?
i count 104,338,854 total votes in 2000 (bush/gore/nader)
and 108,179,745 votes so far today with 93% of precincts reporting.
at this pact, the final total should be 116,332,306.

definitely more votes this time around.

4. What about all the early voting?
Have the early votes in Florida and other states been counted?

We have reports from all over the country about huge numbers going for early voting and huge new voter registration and huge lines all over --

Now it seems like the votes are being Enroned.

8. Well remember California is not totaled yet
but I agree the number are much lower than I expected. It is also clear to me tha that in solid blue states like NY alot of people stayed away from the polls since victory in the state. Looks lik Rove did a good job at getting out the fundies in the South. those two items probaly account to the PV margin

Still I though the numve woul have bee aproaching 117 million or so. but it looks like 7 mil short of that.
