BUT,how accurate (historically) can polls of the Iowa caucus be? The caucuses (sp?) are designed to influence votes, versus voting where you presumably have your mind made up ("I'm going to vote for a candidate who's name sounds like mine", for example).

Maybe it was just wishful thinking on their part, since they didn't offer any thing to back it up.

they even kind of disclaimed it - basically introducing it as "for what it's worth".

Does anyone know about how historically accurate polling for the caucuses is? Or is the design of the caucuses effective at getting participants to hold off on their decision until the meetings have been held?

Not drunk, but kinda brain dead so I didn't catch the details, just the order. I did think it was odd that Clark didn't show better, and did Edwards just kinda come out of nowhere or did the world change over the past 3 days (was on a job and out of touch with the world).
