Well at least now the Republicans will have total control of the country
with no threat of democrats being able to mount any type of defense on any issue. The can pass everything they've always wanted to.

And just think....
A few Supreme Court vacancies and they have run the table on the three branches of government.

7. Not in the Senate
Democrats can still block the most egregious legislation because Republicans need 60% to stop a filibuster...

8. One bright side...
If, in the weeks to come, Kerry does not become president, I honestly think the Republicans are going to get too arrogant and make enough unpopular decisions that 2006 and 2008 are going to swing heavily the other way.

I am saying this for if Kerry concedes in the next few days, something that I still don't think will be necessary. Call this worst case scenario time. I am not giving up on this country; I will not talk about abandoning my country; I will not ever hate my country (the people in charge, however...). I want a massive shaking up in the Democratic party, I want to see the possibility of two more years of hell giving democrats the spines necessary to stand up and fight back. I want to see Dubya screw up so bad that the next presidential election results in at least 400 EVs for the Democrat running.

That said, screw all of this--I wanna see Ohio blue.
