5. I am 65 and won't be around to have to pay off the Bush deficit.
But one always wishes to leave this earth better than when one entered it. I was born as Hitler invaded Poland. I always thought the world would keep getting better once we rid the planet of fascism.

Never did I once think that fascism would rear its ugly head once again in the nation of my birth. My father and uncles who fought the monster during WWII surely will roll over in their graves.

3. Please don't give up on the millions of thinking people
Who are here among the dolts. You have millions upon millions of thinking, progressive friends here living among all the idiots who are bent on destroying us. Remember your fellow progressives before abandoning America as a whole, please. We need you!

4. You know what?
You're right - even if we win we have lost. look around you - look at the dumbing down of the populus, that since someone feels superior to the President, that makes him worth voting for. It is a strikingly sad day in America, worse than the Stevenson debacle, for say what you want about Ike, he was a high functioning individual, if not an intellectual. This country may get what it deserves, a war, a draft, limited reproductive and contraceptive rights, outsourcing of jobs, and everything else that goes along with this Administration. You and I and the rest of the thinking people don't deserve this, but America does, and will live to regret this. The media was happy to play along and I hope that one day, one of the family members when sticken with MS or spinal cord injury, will suffer terribly - oit is the wrath of God and His irony descending upon them. If their relatives are in the Iraq war, let them sit up every night shaking in their beds, worried to death. I for one will not give an inch philisophically or politically. I remember when Nixon, despite all the lies was re-elected, and the hubris destroyed him politically and emotionally. It should only happen to this crowd.

All that being said, it's not over yet. Not by a longshot.
