Senate races are a HUGE disappointment

Seriously we need to evaluate our party and how we run campaigns. The Dems just aren't doing something right.

When they appoint a new DNC chair. It shouldn't be a quick decision. They have to get a very good person. Someone like Dean

Most of the seats were in southern red states. Democrats have to be very conservative to pick up those seats unfortunately. If Daschle loses, it was his own damn fault. He was too weak in his race.

I don't understand the process, shouldn't they get counted because of all the local races? Or they just decide the presidential race in a state wasn't close so all those just get tossed completely?

Many people don't want to admit it, but people really do embrace a lot of the Republican ideals in the South, even a lot of Democrats in the south. I know, I've lived in repug county all my life.

That has been obvious for many years, but nothing every fucking changes.

Look at Daschle as our Senate leader, is there any sign more obvious that our party does not understand how the fucking game is played.

We need fresh people in the party - new people who are willing to fight and who won't live in fear of Republicans or sell out the first chance they get.

Some Americans think the Democratic Party is weak because so many elected Democrats are weak - they go out of their way to kiss Bush's ass and they won't even stand up for themselves and what they believe.

I will stop now, but I have plenty more to say later this week.

Our party has many problems, most of which will not be solved without replacing much of the current batch of elected Democrats.

After today the GOP will have control over the entire united states government: Executive, legislative (by a HUGE margin), and judicial once Bush appoints all his litmus test abortion judges.

I hate to be that guy in Aliens, but GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER. There is no political way to fight ourselves out of this, and the only way left is... that nasty type of war that begins with C.
