If Bush wins , there definitely is no God .
Before the last Presidential election , I said that I would no longer believe in God if Bush won , I just knew he was evil . Anyway , Bush won , but despite my utterances , I still believed in God because Gore really won .

Now if Bush wins this time , with nearly 80% of the world praying for John Kerry to win , how can there be a God ?

This may sound melodramatic , but it's what I feel . What do others think ? :-(

1. We get the government we deserve
God allows us to exercise our free will. If the American people are REALLY stupid enough to reelect *, then the Big Guy isn't going to stop them doing so.

4. Nonsense
you sound petulant and spoiled.

There have been much worse things that have happened than Bush. Take Hitler, for example, or Pol Pot. If you are not going to believe in God, you should have a better reason than Bush.

10. Well I'm sorry if you think I sound petulent
But I am certainly not , and have never been spoiled . I happen to believe that Bush and his neocon cronies are the greatest threat that this planet has ever seen , yes really . He is truly dangerous and I'm not ashamed to say that he frightens me . And just look at his supporters who preach religion , but talk only of hate , bigotry and intolerance .

If you believe in God , miracles and the power of prayer , I'll ask again , how can God let Bush win ?

5. I'm with you and I have lost faith in the common sense of the
American people. I am frankly shocked, and refuse to speculate as to whether the vote has been manipulated. What I say is if we lose, we regroup and try harder next time. I will NOT GIVE UP MY COUNTRY TO THESE IDIOTS!!!!! Something is seriously wrong here....Bush looked just a little too confident in his WH "speech.. I am sick. I wish we had never allowed exit polling, it gave me a glimmer of hope. I feel sicker than I did in 2000, and I think our military boys will pay the PRICE!!!!

6. There wasn't a god before Bush won...
Don't you know anything about history? Stalin, Hitler, Nixon, Kissinger....Hell, Nixon won re-election by a landslide. At least this election was close. And that bullshit about "deserve" PLEASE!!!! We absolutely do not deserve idiot voters and cheating political parties. We do not "deserve" it. It happens because it is politics. There is no god, there is no justice, there is no fairness. It's politics. The bad guys usually win.

9. God exists; No doubt here; but, if this evil man wins over good, God is
not to blame--We The People are...and unfortunately many will pay for the folly of a few. Actually B* will have to clean up his own mess; that is of some comfort.

But, these are the times that try men's souls.

MI just went to B*..F

Base your disbelief, if you will, on something other than Bush.

I can see the next post, "Bush made me an atheist!!"
