ABC reporting * bringing WH press into residence wing
...so that he can "talk to the American people".

Whatever it is, it won't be savory.

1. What does that mean? A televised address of some sort?
Random telephone calls to the populace? WTF?

I was typing almost immediately after it came over the television. Still waiting, but see my post below for a little more info.

2. More:
Terry Moran saying Bush campaign officials in a "very combative mood right now". Saying WH is leaning heavily on me (Moran) and all other press types to report that voting isn't over, polls still open in west, etc. Sounds like they're trying to spin it as hard as possible.

22. And the polls are still open on the West coast
A presidential candidate should NOT be allowed on TV while the polls are still open in some states.

Media bastards will do anything to have Bush win.

They're leaning on the networks to keep from calling certain states for Kerry.

17. This is utter, fucking bullshit
One more step on the road to fascism: Our leader addressing the nation on Election Night.

He (or Kerry, for that matter) has no place making ANY public statement until this election is decided. Whatever he wants to say should have been said yesterday. It's the voters' turn to speak.

The man's gall never ceases to amaze.
