I didn't know this: if your 17 now but 18 in November you can caucus

I just read that on the Dean site. If you are 17 now but will be 18 in the November general election you can attend and vote in the caucus.

I think that is a great idea!! they should have a say in who the eventual nominee is.

that I still have to find out whether I can vote in the California primary as a 17 year old. Hoping that I can. :)

Be 18 years of age on or before the date of the next General Election.

That I believe is the requirement for all states to become registered to vote in order to vote in the General Election.

Primaries/caucuses are probably different for each state. Some may allow an individual to be 17 at the time of the caucus as Iowa does and others may require them to be 18.

My stepson will be 18 on 11/23 and would have been another Democratic vote.
