Constitution Party candidate runs graphic anti-abortion ad
many on here have brought up using the libertarian party to try to split the republicans. but i think the constitution party would be much better because when it comes to issues like abortion rights many republicans are totally turned off by the libertarians.

<COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Constitution Party's presidential candidate purchased time on a Columbia television station to run a graphic anti-abortion ad in the days before the election, a station executive said Monday.

The 60-second ad, which shows pictures of fetuses, aired once during "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" on WIS-TV, the local NBC affiliate, late Thursday and was set to air one more time late Monday.

Lane said he did not know of any complaints following Thursday's airing.

The ad says, in part: "What you are about to see will disturb you. It's heartbreaking, it's troubling, it's horrifying. Forty-five million American children killed by abortion. John Kerry and George Bush would both let this continue. ... Abortion is not just unconstitutional. It's wrong.">

1. Did you see the C-SPAN coverage of the 3rd Party debate from Oct. 6?
Peroutka came off rather brusk. From his stance you'd almost think he'd be a Jesus freak but he seemed almost anti-religious.

7. I saw that debate.
I liked the Green party and Socialist candidates. I'd never heard of the Constitution party. I'm glad they don't have a presence in my state. Very scary ideas. However, every vote for that guy will be one less for *.

5. this guys a jackass
I live in Columbia. Several times a year he'll have kids on the side of the road at rush hour holding those damn posters. This guy ran for governor last time and got less than 2% of the vote.
Your point is well taken, however. I hope he gets his message out as he could siphon off some of the more fanatical repubs.

6. I'm glad that they are pointing out that it will continue under Shrub,
Bush* and the rest of the repukes have never had any intention of undoing all of the abortion laws. They need a wedge issue to fight about.
