A Bush Supporter Egged My Car Lastnight!
On a corner of one of our downtown streets were 3 Bush supporters standing and chanting with their Bush/Cheney signs. We (4 adults, 4 kids) were walking at the time and engaged them in a discussion on whether or not they wanted to be drafted (they were 20ish). When the light turned green we left them to trick-or-treat. When we returned to retrieve our car all 4 corners of the same block had been inundated with Kerry supporters --waving signs, eliciting honks and cheers. The 3 Bush supporters were still there, but lost in the crowd of college students out to support Kerry.

As we rounded the corner in our car one of the Bush supporters threw an egg at our car.

I'm sure the freepers trolling here on DU are cheering at this --but to the rest of us it just shows their desperation and hostility in the face of what is going to be a humiliating Bush/Cheney loss.

Dems know that the Bush supporters are going to be SORELOSERMANS on Wednesday.

The egg is still on my car to remind me that these are the jerks we are fighting to save our democracy.

1. Everyone's gonna have some egg tomorrow then.
Egg on your car, egg on their faces.

Later.

3. Horrible, but you need to clean it off
Egg can be extremely damaging to your car's paint. Too bad you didn't get the names of the little freeplets because then their parents might be paying to repaint your car.

Here's a link on eggs and cars:

2. I just got tailgated & flipped off by a gray-haired 60-something * zombie
And my kids were once again in the car with me. These are such fine, family-values supporting people. ARGH!

11. That's when you start gently letting up on the gas pedal
Don't stomp on the brake, just gradually reduce speed until the moran behind you can't take it anymore and takes off.

15. Yeah, she was driving a brand new Honda Accord. If my kids hadn't
been in the car, I would have slammed on the breaks and let her hit my tank.

6. Ours was egged about two weeks ago
I thought it was early Halloween pranks, but then wondered about our Kerry/Edwards sticker prominently placed in the back window.

8. Some asshole egged my windshield - while I was driving!
I can't even blame it on Freepers and Busheep, since that's not likely in my neighborhood. Unless it came from another moving vehicle, which is possible.
