It is apparent that Senator Kerry will be a Senator for not much longer. However, I've also heard that the Republicans are poised to pick up 2 to four seats in the Senate. How true or false is that, and what about the House?

2. Not very. Kerry in a landslide and the mega-coattails will translate into
Democrats gaining seats, not losing them !

MA is having a special election
which the Dems will win. We have a good shot at winning OK, CO, FL, KY, and maybe SC and NC. We will win LA after everything is said and done. The house we will pick up seven seats is my guess, but that won't bring us the majority again.

3. Depends on turnout
If turnout exceeds 120,000,000, the Democrats will not lose any. If turnout exceeds 125,000,000 (G-d willing), then look for Democratic pickups in both Houses. North of 130,000,000 and look for a Democratic Senate.

5. I think we'll win the Senate.
Even with a 50/50 split we would have VP Edwards to break ties.

6. If there is a large Democratic turnout Kerry wins.
You don't think the people voting for Kerry will vote for a repug for congress , do you?

7. It happens. 3 times I have seen a Kerry sign and a Portman sign in a yard
Portman is a Republican Cincy area congressman.
