Think of the big picture...
I hate to get ahead of myself, but if Kerry wins...

Bush has really screwed the Republicans!!!

Think about it.

1) Kerry will get to pick no less than two(2) Supreme Court justices in the next four years... probably three or four.

2) All of the enthusiasm of the ABB voter may give control of the Senate back to the Democrats.

3) Our standing around the world will give the Democrats more sympathy and support for a good number of years.

4) The best the Republicans can hope for is that Kerry bombs as bad as Bush. Since Kerry can do almost nothing and do better, this is an unlikely scenario. Unless they find the perfect candidate, Kerry should win again in four years... "Are you better off now than you were four years ago?"

5) The base is divided between good-thinking conservatives and right-wing christian wackos. Isn't it funny that just a year ago the Democrats were misguided and lacking direction. Thanks to Dean, Clarke, Edwards and Kerry we are now more enthusiastic and driven than we have ever been.

6) Bush will be seen as an embarrassment.

Etc, etc, etc...

I have personally have no sympathy, since his base and most Republicans are the ones supporting this guy.
