This is, of course what * planned all along..

He had hoped that the war would be over, like his Daddy's was, and that he would ride the crest of the wave to re-election..

He had to rush the war so he could loot all the money from the treasury, and funnel it to his military/industial complex pals.. They stood to gain HUGE from this war, and they would be very "grateful" for the windfall when the next election rolls around..

It's always about capturing the loot, and getting re-elected.. It;s never about what's best for the majority of the US citizens..

That;s what sucks:(

3. Iraq is in bad shape

I read the Tribune Sunday paper today. It's fairly right leaning. The article on the front page on Iraq painted a bleak picture. The country is falling rapidly into chaos.

Even Colin Powell privately is saying we're losing.


For months the American people have heard, from one side, promises to "stay the course" in Iraq (George W. Bush); and from the other side, equally vague plans for gradual withdrawal (John Kerry). Both plans depend heavily on building significant Iraqi forces to take over security.
