Weather Forcast: Iowa, Monday
Just thought I'd throw this into the mix. What effect will the weather have on getting people out for the different candidates? We know Dean people are pretty motivated, what about the others?

Weather forcast according to the National Weather Service--

Ames (biggest city close to center of the state):

M.L.King Day: Partly cloudy, with a high around 18.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low near 0.

Des Moines (southern 1/3):

M.L.King Day: Partly cloudy, with a high near 19.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low near 5.

Cedar Rapids (eastern 1/3):

M.L.King Day: Partly cloudy, with a high near 16.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low near -2.

Sioux City (western edge):

M.L.King Day: Partly cloudy, with a high near 13.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low near 4.

Mason City (northern 1/3):

M.L.King Day: Partly cloudy, with a high near 14.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low near -3.

They're hardy people, though. I think they'll make it out. Otherwise, they'd be housebound the whole winter! ;)

2. Gephardt's doing a good job on this
Whatever the temperature, he has union members offering to baby-sit, dog-sit, or just offer a ride to and from the caucus. I don't like him, but Gephardt's organization there is astounding.
