John Edwards being sworn in as both VP and President at the same time. I was reading about it in the Times yesterday. Say Edwards is chosen by the Senate and Shrub is elected by the House. The 20th Amendment states that if the president elect has not been chosen by the time of inauguration (ie lots of lawsuits and bickering about who one which state and the such) then the VP elect is sworn in as President.
