Laugh Of The Day: Freepies Think Osama Is Going To Save Georgie!

You just gotta laugh. A trip over to Freepie Land will give you a wonderful exposure to the wackiest madness of this election cycle. They actually think Osama's reappearance is going to rescue the floundering campaign of Georgie Bush!

Here it is more than three years after 9-11 and old Osama is running around holding press conferences. He's not dead, he's not on the run, hell, he doesn't even look worried. No, he's tanned, fit, and ready to rumble. Three years of running from Georgie The Great Terrorist Hunter and the fucker looks like he just got back from a couple of weeks of sun and surf therapy in Cabo.

Osama bin Laden is the living personification of George W. Bush's horribly failed war on terror. And if the dittomonkeys don't know that 100s of millions of people the world over just got that message yesterday, well, let's just say they shouldn't have taken those pills Rush sent them.

1. Zero-Sum Game

Most voters have already decided. For people that haven't, I dount the WOT is their primary motivating factor in the election. Therefore, the tape won't have a huge impact on the undecideds.

2. Well, that means they're obviously not afraid of Bin Laden.

So why are George W.'s Terrorism numbers so high in the polls?

My theory: those numbers mask every freeper's bigotry.

They can't come out and admit they're bigots because they know, deep down, that bigotry is wrong; however, if they claim to support George W. based on "He's tougher on terrorism," they think we won't notice their hypocrisy.

6. my theory on why his numbers are so big...

is that alot of people who don't really follow politics that closely will still look to their president as their leader no matter who it is, and since bush has been their leader for four years and is the one brought the idea of the war on terror into everyone's living room that they will instinctinvely think of him as being a leader in that arena. kerry on the other hand has no history with the vast majority of Americans. When these people are polled they're asked a very straightforward question - "who will be better in the war on terror?" i think alot of people will simply choose the president because they think of him as their de facto leader. i'd be curious if you asked them a follow-up question, like "Do you think it's possible that Kerry could do as well or better than the president in the next four years?" I'd expect people to be surprised that these same people would be open to the idea that he could be a stronger leader. anyway, that's the reason polls suck, because too often they're overly simplistic.

3. The Feepers ought to be madder than hell that OBL is still around.

How can they possibly gloat over these tapes? Bush is responsible for this "wolf".

4. Freepers always ignore the truth, just like Bush.

Bin Laden appeared relaxed, well fed, well rested, healthy and prosperous as he spoke in front of a backdrop which covered high explosives looted from Iraq following the Bush league American invasion. Bin Laden, like all terrorists, is very grateful to Bush.

they're basically saying, "Thank God Osama bin Laden is free, safe and healthy!"
