My thoughts on the OBL tape...

It changes nothing. The spinners can talk all they want about the
"undecideds". There aren't that many. I believe the majority
of those polled who claim to be undecided this late in the game are lying.

It will strengthen both candidates' base. Those for Bush will continue to believe he is their only savior. Those for Kerry will continue to focus on this administration's numerous lies, mistakes, and cover ups.

If there is any effect at all, I believe it will make everyone even more determined to get to the polls on the 2nd.
(That would be the 3rd for any lurking Freeps who are reading this.)
