Does anyone really believe it favors Bush? Keep in mind at the RNC they mentioned Osama a grand total of one (1) time. They wanted to "make him go away" by not bringing him up. Well guess what? He's alive and well and still issuing threats - 3 years after 9/11. "Dead or Alive" my ass.

bush* dropped the name Osama bin Laden from his vocabulary a LONG LONG LONG time ago....mentioned OBL only one time, in the debates, because Kerry forced bush* to say it....


NOW, BIG TIME on TV...there is OBL....the FACT that OBL is still alive and healthy should SHOCK many Americans....afterall, almost all bush* supporters actually think we KILLED OBL....all bush* ever talks about is saddam hussein....


nobody wants to see OBL, and missing explosives in Iraq, and beheadings almost daily, and the carnage in BOTH Iraq and Afganistan...the whole time, our gasoline prices have skyrocketed....


this OBL tape is REAL BAD for bush*....on CNN, the bush* talking head looked horrified, shocked, and was rather speachless, flinging around insults at Kerry and Moore, rather than answering questions from wolfie, she blubbered and sidestepped....bush* doesn't know what to say....

10. I absolutely agree. OBL is alive. Bush didn't get him.

Republicans have been saying for two years that OBL is dead. Must be a shock for lots of them. Maybe will influence THEIR vote. Maybe they were thinking Bush made them safer because they thought he had killed OBL. Now they don't feel so safe with Bush. I think this undermines the Republican message that Bush has kept us so safe.

I fear that many will want to show up Osama, and vote for Bush. Even though it is the complete opposite. Osama likes Bush policies. He wanted protracted war in the middle east.

I don't think the purpose of the tape is to influence the election, scare Americans, or somehow telegraph a future move.

While we tend to think all this is about us, OBL's tape could be meant to give himself exposure in the huge Muslim world and rally support there. The timing gives him maximum exposure.

The tape really didn't have anything meaty in it anyway. It's about airtime for him. This should fade in the US shortly, IMO, but the media will blare it for all it's worth.

That OBL is alive helps Kerry. The Pet Goat reference helps Kerry. Kerry's reaction (respectable, presidential) helps Kerry. If we ignore Al Qaqaa, Halliburton, etc for the next four days, Bush gains. But OBL, invisible for two years, is helped the most.
