Bush said I am sure Senator Kerry agrees with me on this.

No one benefits from this.


But Bush looked absolutely horrible. He sprouted a million new lines in his forehead.

This pushes a number of damaging issues out of the news for Bush. Because of that, I'd call it a wash.

I think the voting irregularies will be right back in the news by later tonight and the explosives issue is still being talked about. Bush is still drowning in bad news and failure. Having OBL out front is just another failure, but both he and Kerry will be equally tough on the terrorists. In a way, Bush just gave that to Kerry by saying they agreed on no negotiating with terrorists. I don't think this issue will make much difference in the larger picture, which is why I called it a draw.
