It's been in the news repeatedly before and after Fahrenheit 9/11. They're acting like nobody in the freaking world knew that until Michael Moore told us all. It's always been public knowledge for anyone who pays even marginal attention to the news.

Don't let them spin this onto Moore. There is some horse-toothed bitch on CNN right now saying she's happy to know that Moore gave aid to the enemy. Wolfie brought up F 9/11 first, btw.

I think you have a point -- given how readily groups have been able to upload digital video to websites, etc, I'd guess that Al Qaeda was pretty well wired. bin Laden reads more than Bush does. As you said -- Bush's behavior that day was being reported *that day* on the web all over the world.

Nah -- Bush acting like an idiot, that day, and on every day subsequent, is what is giving aid and comfort to our enemies. Bush has shown himself to be ineffective; he's made things worse, and made things easier for bin Laden. Once before bin Laden expressed surprise that America was found to have such weakness...that's not Michael Moore's fault, for drawing attention to it.

It essentially was a cover-up, and the media is embarrassed about it, Moore exposed them.

Not the video clip showing him with the book, but reference to what he was doing when he found out and everything... of course it wasn't reported how long he sat there and did that after he found out.

But it's been mentioned in print media plenty. Plus, I'd wager a guess that foreign media covered it better than ours did.
