Yep. Clinton should have gotten him when he had the chance....
??? Uh, yeah... And why hasn't Bush gotten him since he attacked our country? Why was it easier for Clinton to get him than Bush? Bush had more troops and more people and weapons after him. Why did he leave him and go after Saddam? Huh? Bush should have stayed on Osama's trail until he was captured. The only reason Osama is speaking on the TV is because Bush diverted his attention away from the person that attacked our country and invaded Iraq...

1. Clinton had NO support from the GOP Congress in going after
OBL. Quite the opposite, in fact

4. A suggestion:
If you're going to use headlines like this in the future, could you put them inside quotation marks, so that we know that the headline is not the point you wish to make, but somebody else's words?

Thanks :hi:

8. If I'm going to use a headline, I'll put it in LBN....
These are my words - not a quotation....although we can expect to hear it from numerous right-wingers, I have no doubt. But, I guess that was the point I was trying to make?? Trying to figure out the problem with the post??

9. What I was trying to say is this:
You're right when you say that we can expect to hear that from the right-wing nutjobs. I read your entire original post, and you're right. No doubt in my mind.

I'm saying that I would have liked it if the headline to your post was a bit more clear that you are predicting a RW talking point. The headline, as it was, was too easy to interpret as your opinion, and I would have liked to see some sort of separation between your opinion and the predicted talking points in your headline. That's all. :hi:

6. Why did Bush not answer for the USS Cole bombing when it was known USL
was responsible for the Cole bombing shortly after he was inagurated.

Instead, he focused on Iraq in his National Security Counci meeting from the very first meeting.

7. Impeachment by repugs hampered president's effectiveness
If you recall, Clinton was undergoing impeachment for getting
a blowjob (Oh no! How dare he?) while we were attacked by al
Qaeda. When Clinton sent cruise missiles he was chastised by
repugs for trying to shift Americans' attention from their
important business of exposing Clinton's perverted life and
onto some faraway fake threat. That's what was going on. We
have the GOP to thank for Osama's life - twice! Same for
Zarqawi in Iraq - when the Spec Ops dudes had him in their
sights in the northern no-fly zone just before the invasion -
they were told to stand down by the Wolfowitz gang - they were
afraid if we killed this bad guy it might soften Americans'
blood lust to allow them to attack Saddam.

11. Fuck the republicans
They accused Clinton of wagging the dog when he went after him.

I remember the likes of Orin Hatch and Dan Burton...I remember what they were saying at the time.
