OBL is the Friday afternoon "news dump" -- because it is bad for Bush.
Someone, somewhere, delayed this until the Friday afternoon news dump because it is bad news for Bush.

The war rages in Iraq and OBL taunts the US. What has Bush done for us? NOTHING.

2. Saturday and Sunday are STILL the weekend.
No matter what day Tuesday is.

The 24 hour cable news shows don't draw the viewership during the weekend like they do during the week.

Especially on Halloween weekend.

Who the F watches cable news on weekends. My dad does but he also watches TWC all the- time. I like to do things away from news on weekends.

Sure, it could be a CIA op, but I don't think we can automatically blame rovian politics on this one.

On Edit: Saturday and Sunday aren't the weekend in some Arab countries, I think it's Monday and Tuesday, but not sure.
