Whiney FReeper response about current state of explosives story
...just for amusement:

"There remains absolutely no proof that any of this stuff was looted. This is all just dirty politics. The UN and The NYT and CBS have a very clear agenda.

If the bad guys had this particular stuff wouldn't they be using it? It can take weeks to investigate something like this. We could have taken it, the UN could be wrong about the tonnage, the film crew from MN doesn't even really know where they were! It will take time to get to the bottom of it.

Kerry could have shown some understanding by laying off the story for a while, but he went with it full throttle before the ink on his NYT newspaper was even dry!

Why did the UN wait 18 months to bring this to our attention? To embarass Bush? And why did they wait till May 2003 to tell us about it to begin with?

There are a lot of unanswered questions."

3. Ha! Somebody needs to tell that dude that ...
the "bad guys" probably HAVE been using it! Of course, I'll give this ignorant fool the benefit of the doubt. He probably can't think clearly because of all the EXPLOSIONS as that stuff is being used against our troops as we can see for ourselves even on the *-butt-kissing TV news!

Does Faux news report ANY news from Iraq at all? He has no idea they ARE using this stuff? Even David Kay said they'd detected traces of RDX after one of the truck bombs.

:eyes:

on edit:
LOL! Great minds apparently think alike....

11. You Should Have Heard the Reaction by one Repuke I Know...

when I asked him if had seen 380 tons of explosives laying around, because Bush was looking for them.

He went friggin's nuts!!!!

He got red in the face and started screaming, "You f*cking liberal liars! You'll say anything to disgrace this president, won't you? How dare you say such things about a sitting president?" Ignoring for a moment the things he used to regularly say about Bill Clinton, I just stared at him and asked, "are you serious?", to which I was treated to another 2-3 minutes of obscenities and a diatribe about how I shouldn't talk about a "president" like that. My reply was "I wasn't talkning about a president, I was talking about George Bush".

He turned three shades of orange and then I walked away....

"There remains absolutely no proof that any of this stuff was looted."

then where the fuck is it?

"If the bad guys had this particular stuff wouldn't they be using it?"

they probably are.

"is all just dirty politics. The UN and The NYT and CBS have a very clear agenda."

The IAEA is not an official part of the UN.

"We could have taken it, the UN could be wrong about the tonnage, the film crew from MN doesn't even really know where they were! It will take time to get to the bottom of it."

Again, the IAEA had it all inspected, and the film crew from MN verified their location with a GPS.

"Why did the UN wait 18 months to bring this to our attention?"

The IAEA, before they backed away from the facility, told US command that they should protect that area.

And yes, we can blame Bush for this, because the IAEA people would have created a shitstorm if Saddam tried to move the explosives, and if his troops forced them out the facility would probably have been tomahawked into the dust.

13. 1240 posts later...
They still dont get it...

It's funny when one of these stories breaks...a lot of them dont know what to think, until the ones that actually write complete sentences tell them...

The other day when the "Russia took the explosives to Syria" broke...they actually thought that was GOOD news for them...ha~!!!

If this was a football game...we are going deep and scoring every drive...the freeps arent even getting past the 50...

15. If it was a football game
They should just punt on first down or take an intentional safety - anything but the new-story-a-day strategy.

18. Sacked the quarterback...
...in the endzone. I have always wondered what makes a freeper tick. Is it a burning desire to go back to the segregation of the 1950's? Is it a deep-seated notion that the person who programmed their little brains actually is a Christian? Or is it the idea that they think they finally found a president who can set them up with the good life? I just don't know. How can people be making the same mistakes about this war that were made in WWII and Vietnam and other wars of the twentieth century? This notion of the liberal Jewish media is a concept straight out of NAZI Germany. I know that people don't like bad news, but these guys are at the end of their rope. We have an inherent right in the U.S.A. to question our leaders. We have a duty to remove them from office if they behave in bad faith to our country. The survival of our society rests upon a regular and thoughtful evaluation of leadership.

Reason tells him that he's been had by Bush but his freeperism won't let reason prevail.
