5. He claims to be a dem, and I would agree.
He still predicts a Kerry win. He jsut uses the most recent polols, and zogby is the most recent for a lot of those swing states.

9. He states he is a Democrat on his site
And if you don't believe it, look at the 'humor' page: http://www.electoral-vote.com/info/political-humor.html

Everything there rips on the chimp.

3. his methodology renders it all but useless
its fun to look at but meaningless.

he uses almost any new poll no matter how questionable or how flawed of a track record.
the wild swings are due to the total inconsistant and unreliable system.

btw i think he is a dem.

4. Curious
Here is what it says:

"I have decided to come out of the closet before the election. Be sure to come back Monday. Some of you will be quite surprised, I can assure you."

Hmmm. So I guess it's just not some random dude, it's someone we will probably know. Interesting.

12. info from his site:
I am very skittish about saying much about myself. The site has been repeatedly subjected to massive attacks. I have also received much hate mail, threats, and more so I want to keep alow profile. My exact identity is not so important because all the raw data is on the site (click on "Polling Data"), so you can verify it yourself. Although I am not employed as a pollster or political consultant, I have been active in politics before this year and know a lot about it. As to education, I have taken graduate courses in statistics and have an advanced degree from a prestigious university. I have a number of publications to my credit. The BLS would classify my job as managerial/professional/technical. I have also been in close contact with experts in polling, statistics, computers, and other areas where I needed some assistance. If Kerry wins, I'll probably come out of the closet after the election; it is getting a bit stuffy in here.

Who has these credentials... before I read this I was thinking maybe
Al Gore or Michael Moore, but this resume wouldn't be a fit.

SLACKERS tour. He wouldn't have enough time to maintain a website that has this much info to update on a daily basis. I can't imagine who it could be...or maybe he means something entirely different? Oh well, I guess we'll find out on Monday.

He's a talented cinematographer, but not an analyst.
